At Gmath, we start with a lecture. Our specialised one-page concept maps (OPCM) are handed out to students. These OPCMs are well-known to be first-class – comprehensive, clear and well structured. During the lecture, our goal is to help you gain content mastery, understand concepts and identify key question types.
Lessons are always engaging, inspiring and fun. We share tons of tips and tricks to help you simplify the solving process & minimise memory work. You will go home with a wealth of solving techniques at your fingertips, a ton of GC hacks and feeling way smarter than your peers.
We also follow up with intensive practice to close the chapter. We will run through worked examples to show you how to approach the different question types. We provide you with a step-by-step guide to train your thought process when faced with various questions, especially the more challenging ones. Our practice questions are also carefully chosen to give you exposure.
Yes, we offer the following to help catch up on topics missed:
1. Crash courses: We run crash courses every school holiday (March, June & September) for major chapters that were previously taught. You may wish to attend these crash courses.
2. Accelerated Learning Programmes: We also conduct these classes on a small group basis (max 3 students) at a discounted rate.
JC 1 – By July, the topics would be similar across most schools. In fact, the topics covered for J1 from Feb to July are the same as those are Pure Math topics. We also offer headstart classes in Dec so students will have no problem catching up.
JC 2 – In the first 3 months most colleges will be going through Vectors, Differential Equations & Complex. By March, we would already have started on Statistics, and by June, we would be embarking on revision. Additionally, our JC2s also go through headstart after J1 promos so they are always well ahead of school.
